ESCENA

Escena (Scene) emerged as an installation that consisted of twenty silkscreen prints on transparent cellophane paper with photographic images of four different life-size people, hung and located in such a way that they occupied almost the entire AlmaZen exhibition space (Barcelona 1999).

Over the next three years Escena became a work in progress that grew and transformed with each new installation and its subsequent staging; and thus, until lost in the perennial moment of apnea, an eternal moment at the bottom of the sea, whose memory lives between light and photographic reproduction.
